In Bhopal, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the launch of a scheme to boost tourism and investment in Madhya Pradesh. He highlighted Ujjain's Vedic clock as a unique global example of time determination and Bhopal as a thriving tourism hub. Addressing the 39th annual conference of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), CM Yadav underscored the state's efforts to tap into the vast potential of tourism. He also commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for emphasizing India's global role, such as his recent train journey from Poland to Ukraine. During the event, the IATO manual was introduced, a film on IATO was screened, and the late M L Rajdan received the posthumous Hall of Fame Award. Puneet Chhatwal, MD and CEO of Indian Hotel Company Limited, was also honored. Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, expressed confidence that the IATO Madhya Pradesh Convention would establish a benchmark for future events, urging delegates to explore the state's historical sites, cultural heritage, and natural beauty to promote Madhya Pradesh as a tourist destination for both domestic and international travelers. A cultural presentation titled "Enchanting Madhya Pradesh: The Heartland of India" was curated by the Madhya Pradesh Government Culture Department and directed by Maitreyi Pahar.The 40-minute dance performance by 53 artists at the presentation highlighted the historical grandeur and natural beauty of the state. Kailash Sisodia, along with his companions from Dhar, mesmerized the audience of tour operators from all over the country with a traditional Bhagoria dance of the Bhil tribe.
